Assistive products for personal hygiene that support users

The international standard ISO 17966 comprises requirements for the performance and testing of assistive products for the personal hygiene.
The assessment of conformity with the defined requirements includes the testing of static strength, fatigue strength, impact resistance, static stability, ergonomic principles, adjustment mechanisms, operating forces and documentation. The electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility of hygiene aids with electrical parts is also addressed.
